Cheent Bottle Covers & Stopper
These wine bottle covers are hand-stitched using cheent fabric, which originated from the Indian subcontinent and was inspired by floral prints prominent in the attire and decor of Mughal rulers.
The set includes 6 bottle covers (3 pink, 3 purple) and a wine bottle stopper. The bottle stopper was created using Chammak Patti (glow-in-the-dark reflective tape), a material rooted in the flamboyant culture of Truck Art which is a popular form of decorative art used on trucks in the subcontinent. Using vibrant colors of this reflective tape, artisans cut various shapes and layer them together to create intricate designs.
Care Instructions (bottle covers): Gently hand wash using delicate detergent.
Care Instructions (bottle stopper): Gently wipe clean with a damp cloth.
